Q: Do I need to have my own paragliding gear?

A: Students have access to student gear through the school during the p1 portion of their training which is the ground handling introductions up to the first 5 flights of the program.  After that students are expected to purchase their own gear.  Max Acro offers a rent to own program with approved credit on gear if they do not have their own. Max Acro is an authorized dealer of a variety of paragliding brands and offer a discount on the student package for gear purchased through the school.

Q: How long does the program take?

A: The P1 program requires 5 flights and introductory ground school lessons which takes 3-5 days to complete. The P2 program requires 35 flights, 8 hours of ground school and 7 flying days which takes 7-10 days to complete.

Q: What will I be able to do after this training?

A: P1 will have a basic understanding of paragliding but will be unable to fly unsupervised. You will receive a rating that allows you to pursue the next level of training, P2.
P2 will able to launch and land in a variety of mellow conditions and will qualify to fly unsupervised at many flying sites around the globe. You will receive a rating that allows you to participate in further training clinics including P3, SIV and XC.
